All our physiotherapists are registered members of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and registered with the Health Council to practice as medical professionals. Our physiotherapists are all senior level with a strong record of clinical experience.
KATE REARDON, BPHTY, HCPC, MCSP
Physiotherapist / Clinical Manager
Kate graduated from the Australian Catholic University in 2013. She spent the next three years working in a private practice in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, gaining valuable experience treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, with a client-base ranging from paediatrics through to geriatrics.
Kate believes in building bespoke programmes for all patients. She has a strong manual therapy background and enjoys taking a hands-on approach. By combining joint mobilisation and soft tissue therapy with expert biomechanical correction and exercise-based rehabilitation, she is able to target the cause as well as the symptoms of her patients’ problems, getting them pain free and fully functioning, fast.
Kate has completed post-graduate training in Mat Pilates, which she utilises in her rehabilitation programmes, targeting improvement of her patients’ spinal stability and posture.
Although Kate has worked on all areas of the body, she has a particular interest in the management of lower limb injuries and lower back/neck pain management.
She has a personal interest in netball and surf sports that helps her not only to lead a healthy and active lifestyle, but also gives her a better understanding of what it takes to avoid and treat sports-related injuries.
SABINE NAVE BSc(Hons), MAACP, Chartered Physiotherapist
Senior Clinical Physiotherapist
Sabine graduated in 2006 in London with a honours degree in physiotherapy; she is originally from Munich. She worked in senior NHS positions in various major trusts, The Royal London Hospital, Guys and St Thomas Hospital, Central London Community Health (Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea) and University Hospital Birmingham. She also worked in the in- and outpatients department at BMI Healthcare before mainly practicing in private clinics. She has been specialised in musculoskeletal/orthopaedic since 2008. She is preparing to return to part time study for her Masters degree in advanced neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Sabine has extensive experience in providing various physiotherapy treatments, such as manual techniques for spinal, joint, and soft tissue problems to relief pain and/or resolve joint stiffness. She uses mostly Pilates based rehabilitation exercises to help patients overcome injuries and aid return to their sporting activities. Her training is ongoing in mat and equipment use with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). A holistic approach to patient care and the use of acupuncture for pain relief has a strong influence on her practice. She provides rehabilitation for acute injuries, post- surgical recovery, return to sport, or ergonomic advice for improvement in the work environment. Sabine speaks fluent English and German.
PAOLA RUSSELLL BSc, MCSP
Paola has gained her UK clinical experience at St George’s Hospital, the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability and currently also works with neuro rehabilitation team at The Wellington Hospital. She has experience in acute geriatric medicine, and senior health within the NHS and extensive experience in neuro rehabilitation and post operative rehabilitation following knee and hip replacement. She is a keen proponent of manual therapy techniques for musculoskeletal physiotherapy including myofascial release. Paola also uses Pilates based exercises and exercise rehabilitation and acupuncture. Her commitment to professional development includes elbow and knee trauma and specialist study of injuries in classical dancers. Paola is a keen runner participating in both endurance and obstacle events. Paola speaks fluent Spanish and English and has a welcoming warm and professional approach with her patients.
NICK CHARLISH, BSc, MCSP, HCPS, AACP
Nick graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2013 with a BSc in Physiotherapy with First Class Honours. He spent the next two years working in a busy private physiotherapy clinic in Norwich and was the team physio for a local rugby club. His keen interest in sport led to him relocating to London in order to start an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Queen Mary University. This is due to be completed in the summer of 2016, so in addition to working with Ten, Nick is in the process of completing his research into hamstring injures in field hockey players.
Nick’s approach to physiotherapy is exercise focused, and is supported by a range of manual therapy techniques including traditional acupuncture and dry needling. He is passionate about considering the whole kinetic chain during his assessments and delivering an individualised rehabilitation plan. As a keen sportsman Nick has tried most sports on offer. He currently plays field hockey at club level and is an avid skier, which keep him busy during the autumn/winter. Nick has recently taken up road cycling in order to get his exercise fix during the warmer months.
ELEONORA SANSONI MSc
Eleonora graduated from the British School of Osteopathy with a Masters in Osteopathy. Before that she gained her diploma in physical therapy in Italy and worked at the Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Institute in Folignano, Italy for five years and as a physiotherapist in Australia for South Melbourne Women’s Football Club. Her training in rehabilitative care followed on from her original training as an exercise instructor and Pilates trainer. Eleonora has six years extensive experience as a Pilates instructor in Italy, and in Australia, and has specialist training in Pilates for pregnancy. Elenora speaks fluent English and Italian.
ANTONIO DE LA FE
Antonio trained as physiotherapist in Spain before he started his professional dance training. Whilst training as a dancer he also completed Pilates training in 2003 focusing on using Pilates as a rehabilitation tool. Whilst working as Pilates instructor and tutor for other instructors from 2003 to 2005 in Madrid he decided to do a full-time training in contemporary dance at the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza de Madrid in 2005. Thereafter he moved to London to undertake a more intense dance training, completing a Cert HE and MA in contemporary dance at the London Contemporary Dance School. He joined Little Venice Pilates & Physiotherapy’s team in September 2008 and continues to work as a professional dancer and choreographer. In 2015 Antonio was awarded a BBC Peforming Arts Fellowship.
As well as his background in physiotherapy and dance Antonio uses a somatic approach to Pilates. He is interested in mental imagery, mindfulness and self-awareness in Pilates practice to help gain the best results for a wide range of clients with different physical conditions and requirements. Antonio speaks fluent English and Spanish.
A highly experienced specialist Pilates and Gyrotonic instructor. Ian trained with Pilates Foundation, and has worked in numerous top London studios. Ian has a background in dance having studied at Rambert School and worked as a ballet dancer with state theatre companies in Germany. Ian also holds a masters degree in History of Art (Courtauld Institute).
Pilates and Gyrokinesis
Elina holds an MSc in Dance Science, a BA Hons in Theatre Arts London Studio Centre and Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies Royal Academy of Dance. Elina trained at Alan Herdman. Elina is also a certified Gyrokinesis® Instructor. Elina has further specialist training for teaching Pre and Post Natal Pilates and Pilates for scoliosis, shoulder pain and lower back problems.
Elina is originally from Greece where she co-directed a dance and body conditioning studio in Greece teaching ballet, contemporary, jazz, Pilates, Gyrokinesis® and Ballet Workout.
Elina has a keen interest in the biomechanics of the body and firmly believe in the safe and effective teaching of movement in order to prevent injuries and maximize potential. Elinia speaks fluent English and Greek.
Sania, originally from Athens, trained at the “Conservatorire De La Dance Et Music De La Rochelle” (France) and the world famous “Ballet Des Lausannce 20em Siecle” (Maurice Bejart, Switzerland). As a professional ballet dancer Sania has worked with Opera de Lyon, Toulouse and La Rochelle in France, and Opera of Hannover and Rostock in Germany. Injured as a dancer with an ACL ligament rupture and metatarsal inflamation, she used Pilates to rehabilitate and maintain and improve her fitness. Following her dance career, Sania gained a degree in Fashion at Saint Martins College of Art & Design and went on to work with Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood. Sania also trained as a Pilates instructor with Alan Herdman and provides clients with an extensive knowledge of exercise and a warm, caring nature. Sania speaks fluent English and Greek.

Pamela has an exceptionally strong understanding of Pilates gained for 10 years of practice and training. Trained by Alan Herdman she brings intelligence to her teaching ensuring every client gains optimum results. Originally from Greece, Pamela held a scholarship at the University of Crete where she obtained an honours degree in clinical Psychology. Her academic study was followed by gaining an MSC in War and Psychiatry at King’s College, London. Pamela speaks fluent English and Greek.
Omer’s university study at undergraduate level focused on Psychology & Communication. He later went on to a Business Management Degree. Omer is also trained, qualified and registered Homeopathic Medicine, Massage Therapy, Reiki, Coaching & Counselling. Omer joins Little Venice Pilates as a member of our massage therapy team. As a massage therapist he utilizes a range of techniques to meet the needs of each individual client/patient. Omer is registered with The National UK Therapists Register. Omer has a strong depth of knowledge and brings a highly professional approach to his work.
Patty is an accomplished dancer and has performed with the Michael Clark Dance Company, Rambert Dance Company, Richard Alston Company, Scottish Ballet, Northern Ballet Theatre and The National Ballet of Canada. She has an ITEC Diploma in Anatomy Physiology and Body Massage and her registered treatments include Lymphatic Drainage Massage and Reiki. She brings a wealth of knowledge, a passion for massage and a sensitive and caring manner to her work at Little Venice Pilates.
